What does VoIP mean and how does it function?
VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) enables you to make voice calls using a broadband internet connection instead of a traditional phone line. It takes your voice, changes it into data and delivers it via the internet.
Do I have to get a certain phone to work with VoIP services?
You can use VoIP services over traditional analog phones (with Analogue Terminal Adaptor) & IP Phones. You can also use VoIP over computers or smartphones by downloading the calling app.
Can I place international calls using VoIP?
Yes, you can initiate international calls just as you would with the traditional phone service. International calling charges are available here.
How easy is it to set up eazyconnect's services?
eazyconnect services are plug n’play and can be easily installed with the self-install guide that will be shared as part of the activation process. However, if you need help, we provide 2 paid install options : 1.) Remote Installation – An eazyconnect team member will schedule a call with you to help with the setup. 2.) Onsite Install – An onsite visit will be scheduled as per your convenience and our tech team member will come to your location to setup the service.
Is there a long-term contract required with eazyconnect?
Yes, with eazyconnect, you can sign up for a plan for as long or short as you like.
Is it possible to keep my phone number after using VoIP?
Yes. You can port your current phone number(s) to eazyconnect.
